Family Dinner
I have a "family dinner" once a week. 3 out of the 5 people who usually are here only want to talk about themselves.

Here's a thot. Have a discussion jar. Have strips of paper in it with different ideas or topics to discuss. I came to the table at Christmas with a question - Would the men at this table learn sign language if their child, wife/girlfriend, sibling were deaf? The reason I asked it was because I had read an article that stated a very low percentage of men learn to speak through sign language when a close loved one is deaf? It was a good conversation. Anyway. Food for thought.
